Gallery 7 - UV & IR Photographs
The Infra Red (IR) photos shown below were taken on a modified full spectrum camera fitted with a lens filter that removes all visible light and only allows IR light through to the camera. It produces an interesting and sometimes dramatic effect.
At the other end of the spectrum (quite literally) are the photos taken under Ultra Violet (UV) light. Some flowers and plants fluoresce when exposed to UV light. The following UV photos were taken using a filtered UV light that removes all visible light. When photographed in a darkened room , the fluorescing plants can look quite spectacular.
