I’ve always been an avid amateur photographer from my teens; developing my own photos in a darkroom I built at the back of dad’s garage . After spending 40 years working in the environmental and H&S fields, I finally decided not to be greedy and leave some of the work to a younger generation. So I retired and turned my energy back to the more pleasurable pursuit of photography.

Since taking up this activity, I’ve had had the time to study the art, try different approaches and hopefully I’ve improved. As in all worthwhile endeavours, the process of studying, trialing and improvement never ends, so I think this process will keep my occupied for a while yet.

I hoped that at least some of my photos would be of interest to others, so I decided to offer them for sale. I’ve tried to ensure that the prints I produce are of the highest quality so they will last anyone that buys one a lifetime.
